Originally from Miami, Florida, Composer, Writer, and Classical Pianist Mena Williams is currently studying for a Master's in Music Composition at California State University, Long Beach. Mena started learning classical piano at the age of four and started composing seven years later. At the age of eleven, she composed her first piece courtesy of a summer camp hosted by the University of Miami. In that moment, she realized that she loved the feeling of creating and expressing herself through her own music rather than through someone else's. From that point on, a goal was set. The goal that Mena has been pursuing since the creation of her first composition is to be a composer for Films, Video Games, and Dance Companies. The Unfinished Symphony started as the title of her undergraduate college essay, symbolizing that there is still a lot to do with her life, and there will be many future events ahead. Now, The Unfinished Symphony has become a platform to showcase her music to the rest of the world.
