...and the Kitchen is a riff off the saying "everything but the kitchen sink" and is a personal study on a creator's subconscious fear that what they produce is boring. The piece starts with a single idea but quickly develops into a rhythmically complex, melodically maximalist work that never attempts to take itself seriously. As the piece continues to add new ideas, it grows into an ironic disarray of organized chaos driven by a need to keep its listeners guessing.
